Kanemune Nakago signed blade

kyūhachi-shiki guntō (九八式軍刀) or shin guntō type 98 in a special variant of Saya.
Traditional Japanese forged blade Katana sword made during the period of the Second World War signed by Kanemune the Amanide son a great and famous swordsmith from the Showa era WW2 period.

Blade with a forged repair by the same smith or another but of great expertise in the WW2 era perhaps for damage in combat, a very rare and collectors appreciate condition that remains solid without damage now  Beautiful Hamon (temper line). Watch the pictures please.

Blue/brown tassels were used by company grade officers (lieutenants and captains)

kyūhachi-shiki guntō (九八式軍刀) or shin guntō type 98 in a special variant of Saya (traditional Honoki wooden Saya with Kurikata and plated gold Shitodome it is a very special hand made confection surely for an official of an important family).

Traditional Japanese forged blade Katana sword made during the period of the Second World War signed by Fukumoto Kanemune a great and famous swordsmith from the Showa era.

Blade that remains solid, it has, now not visible, signs of having been repaired, perhaps by combat damage, which makes this piece something with the charm of having had a real use in war... Please look at the detailed pictures of that blade part (very interesting for war items collectors I think). Slight dark points near the tip. Old polish keeps the edge and tip in good condition. Beautiful Hamon (temper line).

Militar pattern mount with leather combat cover that show the time and use. Saya (scabbard) traditional variant with Kurikata and shitodome couple. Kabutogane, Fuchi and Tsuba in great quality of bronze. Brass stamped cherry blosson (Sakura) military Menukis. Same of fine ray skin. Koshirae professionally cleaned, now in excellent condition. Tsukaito original Japanese army colour cotton restored.

-Sakihaba (section height in the initiation of Kissaki): 2,2cm.

- Kasane : 0,6 cm.
