High grade Hiromasa Katana and Koshirae "Fuji mountain" Takahashi family Kozuka

Mei: Wakasi Kami Minamoto

Katana made Wakasa kami Minamoto (called: "Hiromasa") - NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho paper

 

It is a beautiful Katana which is made by early Edo period around Kanbun era in Edo period (Kanbun (寛文) was a Japanese era after Manji and before Enpō)
Blade has a sign named Wakasa no Kami Minamoto (out of follow) called Hiromasa - that is attached to recognized by  NBTHK (Nihon Bijyutsu Token Hozon Kyokai) Tokubetsu Kicho paper.
Hiromasa was very famous swordsmith who was activated Settsu Koku around Kanbun era around 1660 in early Edo period.
Blade has a recient polished and almost no wound.
Temper (Ha) and Hada are keeping excellent condition.
Especially beautiful and bright temper Gunome-Choji midare wonderful Hamon.
It has 3.15 cm width and 0.7cm thickness, so it feels strong and weight appearance.
It attach shirosaya.
Blade 81.4cm in full length, Temper part 65.0cm.
