Japanese Fuchi/Kashira from a old Katana 刀 Koshirae
"Pine Flowers" 松の花 "Matsu no hana" symbolizes longevity, virtue and also youth
Rare lacquered Fuchi/Kashira
Fine brass (and Copper) in delicate and precise handwork
Estimated Age: Edo period 江戸時代
Measures:
Fuchi: 3,7 x 2,1 x 1,1 cm.
Kashira: 3,4 x 1,6 x 1,4 cm.
Good condition with minimal used signals. Some green patina that could be easily cleaned
but has been left remain because it is a sign of its nobility and beautiful age.
